Hi everyone. I am a full-time working mother to 2 beautiful girls ages 2 and 3 1/2. I just turned 34, and now understand the "biological clock is ticking" thing. When did I get this OLD?!
While the idea of having a third sounds magical, and I always feel like I am missing someone... I am terrified of starting over, and the sleep loss, and the swollen boobs, and the lack of sleep (I needed to say it twice for emphasis!).
I like that I can mostly sleep through the nights, and keep a decently clean house. I enjoy my freedoms that I've earned now that the girls are past the infant age. But I still miss the infant age.
With a third, how do you balance work and life together? Maybe I am just not ready... But will I ever be?
I would love to hear your story if you have, or are planning on a third.
Re: Advice for Having a Third Child?
We only have one, and we go back and forth on another. I realized the other day that my life was very, very different before DD came. But now that she's here and is about a year old, I realize that we've settled into a nice routine. And I realize that, if we were to add to our family, we'd settle into another nice routine.
Just something to think about.
and keep in mind... do your cars accomodate 3 car seats? Or would you need to upgrade.
