IVF & insurance

edited July 2021 in Ohio Babies

Looking into IVF, would you recommend ORM in Columbus(which is where I started) or Bethesda in Cincinnati (which is where I was last seen) to have your procedure done.

Also, how many of you had successful full term pregnancies with IVF?

And does any have United Health Care coverage, does it cover mostly everything?

  • I don't have an answer to your questions, but I do wish you the best of luck in conceiving!

  • It doesn't matter who is your insurance carrier. Depends on what kind of coverage you/your spouse's plan has. Generally fertility treatments are not covered. However, most of the services may be, such as the doctor's visits, usually you just have the normal co-pay to cover. Be sure to discuss these costs upfront.

I went to ORM, and was very happy with my doctor (Grant Schmidt) and the staff.
