Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Round 2: Coxsackie virus (hand, foot, and mouth disease)

OMG she has it AGAIN!!!  105 fevers and sores in her throat.  Last time she had it she had sores all over her face, hands, feet, down her legs, on her butt.  Anyone have a child that had it twice?  was it better than the last time?  She Just had it in November!

I am also worried about my 2 month old...although the pedi says that she should be okay ....and the younger they are they won't get it...she couldnt promise that it wouldnt happen but said she probably won't.

UGH....it is a really crappy illness I feel so bad for her...and keeping these fevers under 105 is tough.  I have to be on top of when I am giving it to her or it skyrockets up within minutes.

  • My dd just had Roseola with fevers of 105... it was horrible! The fevers are the worst. Poor baby. Hope she gets better and keeps it away soon.

  • My son had it once a few weeks ago. It's so tough on him. His sores weren't bad but the fever was horrible and he was miserable. I hope your DH gets better soon!
