At the end of my rope.

DS has been potty trained since last May. But for the last 2 months, he's been pooping in his pants. He'll tell me he has to go after he's soiled his underwear. I don't understand what's going on. We've tried every reward we can think of and none of it is working. I don't want to go back to diapers, but I can't keep going through this. Does anyone have any advice on how to convince him to tell me BEFORE he goes again?

    My DD has been very difficult and I just got done reading John Rosmunds book- Potty training without tantrums. It had a lot of good advice that seems to be working for DD. He puts the responsiblity of cleaning up on the kids. Yesterday I had DD pick up her poop and put in the potty and she keeps telling me that it was gross and she wants to put poop in the potty now. Its worth a try. I would not go back, but would read this book first. It took me less than 2 hours to go through, cover to cover. but there is a section on older kids who are going backwards.
