I think that's fine because you are technically pregnant for 9 1/2 months not 9 months right? But I think since it's calculated from your LMP that would mean you are pregnant for 10 months.
20-5 months
24-6 months
28-7 months
32-8 months
36-9 months
40-10 months
But I'm sure 10 months pregnant doesn't make a whole lot of sense to anyone! That's just my thought.
I have been. WTEWYE has the 7th month as 28 weeks until 31 weeks, so I don't see why not. It's a closer assessment than 6th months for another 7 days or saying "28 weeks" and then people go "let's see, 4 weeks in a month, so that's 7 months, but there's 5 weeks in some months...'
Everyone says it differently. Technically you are in your 7th month but for example my last period was October 19th so on May 19th I'll say I'm 7 months. It sounds better to say you are further along but I'd rather stay real with myself. I wouldnt say there is a right way to say it though.

Re: dumb ?
I say that I'm 7 months... I'm not going to wait until I'm 40 weeks to say I'm 9 months, KWIM?
This is my logic:
1st Tri - Month 1-3
2nd Tri - Month 4-6
3rd Tri - Month 7-9
I've gone by normal 4wk months through the entire pregnancy... So ya, 28wks/ 7months.

But a pregnancy is 10 months, not 9.
