Drinking and clomid

I'm sure this has been asked a gabazillion times, but do you drink on fertility meds?  Last cycle I did not drink at all because I was just too paranoid about mixing the fertility drugs and alcohol.  However I asked my RE's office and they said a drink or two should be fine.  I just don't know about it though...I just worry that if it didn't happen again this month I'd blame the alcohol, things like that.

We're supposed to go out with friends who we usually drink a lot tonight and just wondering what you ladies do.  I'm obviously not going to pound drinks but I'm thinking a couple of MGD 64's wouldn't hurt, right?

    I usually have some wine while on Femara.  I don't get drunk though.  It's a personal decision.  If you would blame yourself if it didn't happen this month, then you might not want to.  Personally, I think it's fine and my RE said it was fine also.

    i dont think there is anything wrong with that. we all need to relax and let loose every now and again. go have fun, just be safe! Besides some crazy drunk love is nice sometimes to mix up the IF sex rut that i know alot of us have experienced! :-)

    Whenever I had a glass of wine or 2 while I was taking clomid I had terrible headaches the following day so finally I just stopped.  When I did injects I had a glass of wine occasionally, but not too much.  My nurse said a glass of wine was fine.  Have a fun night out!

    LOL... I asked about alcohol and caffiene a day or two ago Smile  I think the best responses that made me feel better is 1) moderation is fine and 2) if it stresses you to drink, don't... if if stresses you not to drink, enjoy your beverage!

    Testing - Me ok, gluten issue? DH - borderline count, low motility
    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
    7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
    FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354
    1st u/s 5w6d, one beautiful little HB :), 2nd u/s 146bpm

    IVF#2 8/19/15 - cancelled due to cysts
    IVF#2 take two 10/2015 - 5 blasts frozen
    FET#4 12/11/2015 - BFN - 4 blasts remaining
    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    My RE had told me that I can live my life the way I normally do and I can eat and drink what I want up until they confirm pregnancy.  I was actually sick when I asked about taking other meds and that is when he told me that it wouldn't effect the outcome at all.

    I picked up my two monthly doses a few days ago and specifically asked the pharmacist if it was OK to drink alcohol and he said it was fine. That said - i have to believe getting really "drunk" would only make the hormones worse, so I'll be cutting back when I start next cycle. To each their own though - I would do what makes you feel most comfortable.

    I don't worry about it on clomid, I am being a little more mindful this cycle now that I did the IUI.
    Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
