ECFE

Early Childhood Family Education. Have you heard of this?  Its suppose to strengthen families ect. Not sure if its nation wide or just MN. Its a weekly class for parents and children 0-3yrs. I just started looking into it a little just curious if any of you have heard of it or done it and what you think?

    ECFE classes are super common here!

    Everyone does them.

    They're cheap, a good way to connect with the school system. Some classes are better than others, but none are bad just different sorts of information.

    There's a Mommy and Me class here that I plan on doing after LO gets here. It's baby activities, with a Mom discussion and a snack.

    The toddler/PreK ones are usually, art, story, snack, parent meeting.

    All in all pretty fun!

    I have no experience with them, but a friend of mine swore by them and stayed in them until her daughter reached the cut-off age. She said she would have still gone if she could have. I will be trying them too once LO gets here!

    One of the ladies that heads our parenting classes runs them, and from what she's said they sound like a really good way to connect with other moms and kids. I'm planning on looking into them!
