Hostess Gifts?

Probably a dumb question, but am I suppose to get gifts for the ladies that are throwing my showers?  I didn't do it when I was getting married, but that might just have been bad etiquette on my part.

 

If so, any ideas on some good gifts?

    I think hostess gifts vary somewhat depending upon your region and your circle.

    I am planning on getting something for my mom. Not sure what yet though, I have mothers days, and her bday a week apart plus hostess gift in june. I have a small list so far, not sure what/when i will buy

    Facial GC

    Sun Hat, & gift basket with goodies

    MJ wii game :)

     Kindle

    Clothes, summer dress/sandals (she never really treats herself to nice stuff)
