A friend of mine has both and she loves them. I agree with PP that the Moby is better for the newborn stage since you can keep baby closer to your body in the fetal position. I have the Moby and another carrier for when she gets a little bigger/short trips when I don't feel like messing with the wrap.
I have both and actually use them both now for my 7 week old. I use the moby around the house and for short outings (we live in NYC). I use the ergo for longer trips around the city. MH prefers the ergo though.
I also have both. I like the Moby for just freeing up my hands when I'm sitting around or doing light housework (dishes). The Ergo is fantastic for everything else because it is more structured and my LO feels more secure. He loves to be in both of them and the Ergo will have long-term use. My DH also prefers the Ergo.

I have both and I really like them both in different ways. For her size right now (7 weeks) I really like the Moby because she is not as bulky and I like the feeling of her in a stretchy wrap. I will really like the Ergo when she grows out of the Moby and I like it for walks outside right now.

Re: Ergo vs Moby
You'll get more long term use out of the Ergo, but I've heard people like the Moby more for the newborn stage.
I have a Moby and it's great, I have a babyhawk for when he get's heavier.
I lovelovelove my Moby wrap!! DS does too!! I put him in it before church and he is sound asleep the entire service!!
I have him in it here (but not the way he is supposed to be), this works for us because he gets too hot when we are chest to chest...
