We heard the heartbeat!

And my day got so much better after that.  It was in the 177 range, so pretty high!  I don't take any stock in the heart rate old wive's tale to determine gender though, since my other two were about the same rates most of the time.

Then we went to Denny's and celebrated baconalia.  I got the BBBLT which was awesome!

    Yay :) I remember the first time I heard the heartbeat it was in the 170 range too - just double checked at 8w5d it was 169bpm :) It's gone down though. That's my favorite part of doctor's appts - hearing the heartbeat :)

    Yay! Glad that you heard it. I remember how nervewracking it is until you hear it or see a sono.
