My guy was sleeping in the arms reach co-sleeper but I'm getting increasingly concerned that he has mild reflux and he's also been wiggling his way to the padded side of the co-sleeper. Last night, I put him in the rock n play and we both slept well. My issue with the rnp is that he seems to favor turning his head to the left side.it. When he was in the co-sleeper, I alternate the way his head is turned. I can't do that so well in the rnp. He also naps in it during the day and I bring it with me when I go into the kitchen or take a shower, etc, so that's a lot of rnp time!
If you use it at night, where does your lo nap during the day? Are you worried about lo developing flat spots?
Re: xp: If your lo sleeps in a rock n play pls come in
my son sleeps in the RNP overnight, but I usually leave it in the bedroom, so he naps in other places during the day. I try to switch it up- based on convenience and to try to get him used to it. I try to put him in his crib at least once per day. We also have 2 swings that put him right to sleep and the boppy lounger (which isn't "supposed to be" used for sleeping, but he loves it, so I just keep in in sight.
I save the RNP for night time or a random "quiet nap" if we have company or if i'm trying to nap too.
