Let's talk boobs

So I know that your breasts are supposed to get even bigger once the milk comes in but do they stay huge the entire time you breast feed or do they eventually shrink after the pregnancy hormones leave the body? 

Selfish vent:  The thought that my breasts are going to be this size or larger for another year makes me want to cry.  I want my body back.  Crying

    You say that now, but once you meet your beautiful baby you will not even be thinking about it...At least that's what I keep telling myself!

    I don't think the stay engorgement huge.  From what I've read they stabilize and go down a little after your supply is established.  After you are done nursing they are smaller (obviously) and like empty sacks.

    I ordered a bridesmaid dress for when I'll be 2 mos pp, and the girl at the store said she's had a lot of pregnant bridesmaids whose boobs shrunk after baby before Bridesmaiding even though they were BFing. Maybe you'll be one of those!

    My boobs haven't grown one bit since getting pregnant. Crying

    Mine got a cup size larger when my milk came in, but were back to normal size within a week or two and stayed that way until I weaned at just over a year.  Not everyone gets a huge chest from pregnancy and/or nursing.  In fact, seems in my circle of mom's most of us stayed the same and some got even smaller after weaning.

    Mine stayed large for awhile, but once I was down to prepreg weight or around it, they were close to normal and I was still bfing. They regulate with the amount you are feeding your child.

    They stay pretty big until you wean if you BF.  If you BF the hormones do not leave until you wean.

    Mine went back to an A cup after stopping breastfeeding and I was a B cup before getting pregnant.  You will notice your boobs will get really full, then once you pump or the baby eats they will not be as full.  It's amazing what our bodies can do.  Everyone is different though.

    I don't think mine have grow too much...I am kinda surprised! However 11 more weeks to go as of tomorrow plus of course milk has to come in still too!

    Mine were back to normal about 3 months into nursing. No worse for the wear.

    I'm a bridesmaid for my cousin's wedding on July 30 (ugh) and they ordered my (strapless) dress 3 sizes bigger than I would have worn the day they measured me to account for boobage.  REEEEEEALLY looking forward to that.  I got the dress on Easter and my cousin made me promise NOT to try it on until after LO is born. HA!!
