I took a dive while running this morning. I tripped over the uneven sidewalk. So upset about it. I felt so incredibley guilty. I scraped up my hands and knees and did not hit my belly at all. I went to my Dr. and he gave me an ultrasound and my baby boy is perfect. Thank God. Ugh.
Does anyone know of any safer forms of excercise that will give me similiar benefits. I can't take anymore chances with running. I rather maintain another type of excercise and resume after he is born. I spun all Winter, and sick of it so any other suggestions would be wonderful. I plan on posting in the health and exc. forum as well. TIA!

The elliptical is great too for cardio. Also OP said swimming, which is full-body and no impact. I hope you find your groove with something else and good luck!
I have been running on the treadmill. It is so boring but I learned I have a new skill! I can READ and run. WHO KNEW? I thought I would throw up if I tried but it has been working out fine. Also, I haven't been able to run as fast so it is really a light jog at this point. I feel like I am kicking my legs too high into my belly.
Good luck and I am so glad you are OK! I fell on the ice my first pregnancy but fell flat on my stomach. So scary but all was well.
