Take DS to the doc?

DS started running a fever yesterday afternoon and I can tell his head is pretty blocked up. His nose runs every once in a while and is clear. He doesn't seem to feel great, but not awful either. Should I take him in?

    I don't think this is a reason to bring him to teh pedi.  They can't do anything for his symptoms, sounds like a virus.  A fever is not really a bad thing unless it is very high.  If the fever continues for a few days, then I would call. Until then give some Tylenol if he seems unconfortable.

    This is the 5 year old in your sig?  Definitely wait it out!  If it's a newborn I would call.

    Thanks. That is what I figured. This is only the second fever he has ever had so I wasn't sure.
