I'm starting my first ever IUI. I'm on day two of the Clomid. I go back on Monday for an u/s and they'll teach my husband how to shoot me up. (He says that I have to pay attention too because if we ever have a daughter he's going to start taking steroids, so I need to know how to give him a shot, too.) We'll probably trigger shortly after that and then do the insemination. I expected to be a lot more hopeful than I am. It just always seems like the first IUI is a bust. Everyone seems to get lucky at the third IUI for some reason...
IVF. 4dp5dt with BAD MF (I am an irrational basket case right now!). We transferred only 1 great looking blast and froze 5.

I'm waiting for July for my FET, so we can use tax-sheltered money to pay for the entire cost and at least spend a few hundred fewer bucks on Mission: Failure - The Sequel.
Then I'm thinking two more natural pregnancy miscarriages after that, and then I'm hightailing it to Tahiti to wait tables and lie on the beach for the rest of my days.

Dude. The shiit (really) we froze was frozen on day 3 before it had a chance to die on its own. It needs crutches, a ventilator and maybe even some of those socks with grippy things on the bottom. This is just a formality, since the freezing and storage was already included. (What a deal!)
We were TTC on our own last cycle and this one, after our failed IVF in February. We are most likely doing another IVF in June as I have some insurance money left. After that we will just be on our own, maybe injects + TI because we can not afford IVF entirely OOP. And by the time we could save up, I think it would be too late (age wise).
I have started looking up info. on donor embryos, I am not sure if we would ever take that route though. I was mostly just curious about the option.

My first IUI was a bust, and since my FSH was so high the RE wouldn't let me start another treatment cycle until DH and I sit down with him. We have an appt May 5. IVF will probably our next step (although I think Dr. Gloom is going to try to steer us towards donor eggs- not ready to think about that yet). So we are preparing ourselves for bad news and lots of $$ spent. IF freakin sucks.

Not much to update here, dh suddenly has hope now that we got pg on our own even though we had another loss. Turns out his parents had an ectopic right before they conceived him so he thinks it's some kind of sign. So hoping to start back up with adoption soon because I have no hope ,all I can think of if it does happen again we will just have another loss.

We're TTA until we see how my foot is healing next week. We talked about it, and if I needed further surgery I wouldn't want to risk it if I was pg. Next cycle, hopefully we'll be back in action. It will be progesterone after O for three months, and if we're not KTFU, we'll do an HSG and discuss next steps.

After 11 years of reproductive failure, we took the plunge and did a really aggressive EPP IVF in February. We transferred 3 decent embryos on day 3 and had a c/p. We were really wrecked over that, and I haven't even had the courage to book my follow-up consult yet. It's been almost 2 months. Sheesh.
Don't know where we'll go from here. We're trying to scrape together enough to have another go at IVF, but who knows if we'll be able to pull it off.
The future's looking pretty damn grim.

Luna! I am so excited that your doing well and progressing on!
Since I don't have tubes we can't TTC ever again. We are just waiting for our next (and final) IVF in July. Then after that I'll probably do a FET if we have any leftover and then after that I'll probably adopt someone else's embryo if we can afford it/feel up to it. In the mean time we are trying to adopt through foster care. We have a placement now and she is wonderful but I am already in love and unless the legal stuff works in our favor will probably have to say goodby in a few months. Yet another loss to endure.

Hmmm, for my part, after a year of TTA, DH and I are TTC again for the first time this cycle. He's in CO for a conference right now when it looks like I might O soon, so I'm not too, too confidant in this cycle. But we'll see.
We plan to try for six cycles without intervention and then see an RE from there if needed. It took a year of TTC the first pg (back in 2009) so we don't want to wait more than that without being more proactive.
So that's us.

I haven't posted on this part of the board in for-eva.
We stopped Clomid and actively TTC in October. We started the foster/adopt process, but our social worker made everything completely miserable for us. We decided that it is not for us, at least at this point in time. I've been gluten-free (Celiac Disease) since August, and it appears that my cycles might actually be doing something normal. I started charting again last cycle and it looks like I ovulated on my own, which is a miracle in itself. I'm keeping track of everything so that I can show my doctor when I go for my yearly exam in July. If I need meds again, we'll try them again. I hope not, but we are willing to do what we need. Also, we are going to ask our doctor to keep us in mind if any of his patients are considering adoption for their baby.
Thanks guys! I'm ready to get this show on the road. The break was well needed though. It took me a long time to get back to my old self after everything. My marriage is SOOOO much better now.

12 long, hard years of TTC-
Miscarriages, losses, lots of treatments & drugs & IVF
Natural BFP (WTF?!) - 06/04/11 ~ lots of complication and drama, but sweet baby Adele born 02/07/12!
BFP #million -another girl for us! EDD - 05-08-15 (but will come early)
Luna- That's awesome that you've got a plan! I hope it works on the first try!
Nothing is really changing here, we're still TTA, until God only knows when.
Is it possible for something to break my heart and make me feel warm and fuzzy all at the same time? If so, it would be your update. That's the only way I can describe my feelings about what you are going through! I still know in my heart that something wonderful is going to work out for you soon, whether it is the adoption process you are going through or your IVF or both. Lots of love to you, Kelin!

I know how it all feels. Try to stay positive and I hope that you do IVF again because even though that one didn't work out you did have good results. Try and keep the faith! (((HUGS)))

Exciting Luna!! Can't wait to hear your updates!!
Good to hear from you! I hope something works out for you sweetie. Your DD is so adorable & getting so big!
My thoughts exactly! Miss you!
