What do you think of the name Ewan? Like the actor Ewan McGregor? We have a few names we are going in with for DS #2 but out of the blue DH brought this name up. I like it ok and I like the actor but our first son is Ethan and I think they are too similar. Thoughts?

Not my style, but I do like the name. However, if you already have an Ethan, they sound very similar. Just think of the days when you are yelling for one, and they both come running

This is on our list too...don't love it w/Ethan though.

I like Ewan and I like Ethan. But not as siblings.

I don't think I like it with Ethan either, however I do like the name. We are struggling with a brother for our Ethan right now too!! UGH!

I love both names - Ethan & Ewan - but as PPs said, not as bros.
The other thing about Ewan is I think a lot of people won't know how to pronounce it. I know, I know, who doesnt know Ewan MacGregor? But still...
