Back Pain!!!

Wow my back has been killing me! I've had this lower back pain on and off for about 3 years now, but it is getting bad! I made an appointment with an orthopedic doctor next week to have it looked at but I'm wondering how they will be able to diagnose anything without doing any X-rays? Anyone else had issues with back pain during pregnancy? How were they treated? Thanks!

    Back pain during pregnancy is normal. Your body is doing a lot of shifting and has to put strain somewhere. 

    My dr said I could do PT and also gave me a handout of safe stretches to do to help.

     Don't just dismiss back pain as a pregnancy symptom. I started to get really bad back pain then I started getting pains where my ovaries are..thought it was common pregnancy pains and it turned out to be an ovarian cyst thats pretty big. The first kind of pain that i got was the back pain.
