2nd Trimester

For all my heartburn sufferers...

I have had the WORST heartburn. Last night I slept on the floor Indian style with my head slumped on the couch...it was that bad.

Anyway...today I discovered from another soon to be mom...that if you put a small spoonful of baking soda in a small amount of water and drink it...you will have relief from heartburn. I tried it and it worked!!!! For the first time in a week I don't feel like I have fire nails in my stomach.

Salt content is high...so I'd only do it once a day. Make sure you save it for when you really need it. Like to sleep.

 xoxo,

 D.

  • Thanks!  I found this miracle product.  Mommy's Bliss Heartburn relief  https://www.mommysbliss.com/products/4-pregnancy-heartburn-comfort  I am telling you it worked for DD and it works for this baby too.  10 min, I am fine.  I recommend it to all.  It is hard to find in stores so you may have to order online.

  • Yes!  Please be careful.  You could get a huge dose of sodium bicarb which can throw your electrolytes way off. This can be very dangerous.  It can cause cardiac arrhythmias and other problems if you take too much.  It's like a huge dose of tums.  At least you can regulate how much you are taking in with tums.
