Trouble TTC

mock transfer tomorrow...

So, tomorrow I go in for my mock embryo transfer, and also a fluid sonogram to check my uterus. Can anyone tell me if the fluid sonogram is as painful as the hsg?

I am nervous for this appointment tomorrow, not because of the procedure, but because it is making this whole IVF thing a little more real for me. I don't start my injects till 5/12, with a possible ER 5/24.

Any thoughts/advice?

  • thank you everyone! yes, it was very easy, not pain/cramping like the hsg.

my nurse figured she'd give us the inject class while we were there, so one less thing to worry about getting done!

as far as the ute goes, everything looks fine. follicle count is at 65 (yowzers!) so hopefully we'll be able to get enough healthy eggs.

    and again, thank you ladies!

  • I'm glad the transfer was easy for you! I just wanted to let you know I should be starting injects around May 12th too, so I'll be the same timing as you.

Very cool! It's nice to know that somebody will be going through a similar experience the same time that I am. I know that meds/timing may be different, but I am doing IVF w/ICSI too. (and I'm near Baltimore, so we're not even very far away either...I just can't figure out how to change my location on my profile)
