Laurel

I'm rolling this name around in my head as a FN and am curious what others think of it. Is it hard to say for you? Do you think it will get confused with Lauren a lot? Any thing else you'd like to add for me to consider if using this name?

And I'm not insulted if you don't like it! I really want to know how others will perceive it.

Yuck...my little cousins name is Segan Laurel adn I think its horrible! Segan is quite fitting for her, but Laurel reminds me of an old woman who smells like moth balls.

I think it's a beautiful name. I know a beautiful, accomplished, 30 year old with that name. She used to date my husband, though, so that's out. ;-)

This is my mn and my mother was concerned it would be hard to say so hid it away as a mn. I always wished it was my fn but since you've asked... I get "you mean lauren?" a lot. I love my name but it was hard to say when I was 4 or so. I'm all good now but any trouble with saying r's and l's and this name gets all muddled up. I love the name but you're right to think about confusion and pronunciation.
