    SS... I was 18  but I voted 16-18. I was closer to 19 though.  IMO--- still wayyyyyy to young... BIg mistake. LOL

    Yeah I wasn't really sure how I should break out the ages...and there is probably a difference between a 16 yr old sophmore and a almost 19 yr old freshman in college...but just was wondering...

    I was 17. Biggest mistake ever. My husband was a virgin until he met me. I really wish, had I known I was going to marry him, that I would have waited for him.

    I was 18 but very close to 19, and it was with DH. We had been together 4 years at that point. We were hoping to wait until marriage, but we didn't.

    I was 20 and in my sophomore year in college.  We had been dating for nearly a year, but were too afraid of pregnancy to do anything before I got on the pill.  My doctor called me her "poster child" for contraceptive use, as I started using it BEFORE having sex.  We never used condoms, which was probably stupid, but we were both virgins and too dorky and awkward to have multiple partners.  After the first guy, I *always* used a condom, right up until DH and I decided to try for kids.

    I was 16 and it was with the first boy I ever loved. I don't regret it (other guys later, yes, but not the first person), he was and is a great guy. We dated for a year, which is forever in high school time!

    I loved my first, as well.  The next 4, however, were just fun.  I don't regret those ones, either.

    What interests me about this poll is that 60%+ answered 15-18 but somehow people in this world still think it's not ok to provide birth control to teenagers . . . . . . .and that's why we end up with the show 16 and pregnant!

    DH and I have been together since I was 15 and him 17. We waited until marriage and I was 22 just 1 month shy of my 23 bday. He was 24. We can't believe we did it! We were committed though!

    I was 17 and it was with my DH. We'd been together 14 months (forrrrevvvvvver in HS!) and were ready. I am so happy to say that it didn't change anything about our relationship because we had talked, and planned as much as possible. We used condoms until I got on the pill three months later, and then used both until we got married.
