Anyone know when the Group B Strep test is done? I'm 31 weeks tomorrow and have an appt this afternoon. Really hoping I'm NOT in for a terrible Q tip surprise!

 I'm doing co-care with a midwife and OB, so not sure when I'll have tests, heck I'm not even sure what tests are still left to do. We turned down most tests because I had to have several ultrasounds early on due to spotting and cysts, just kinda wanted to avoid bothering poor baby girl any more.

Do they typically do anymore ultrasounds this late? Is it standard to do one towards my due date to see if she is in the correct birthing position?

    I'm not sure about the additional tests, so I'm curious what others say as well. I think they do Strep B at about week 35, and I only think that because my SIL gave birth 4.5 weeks early and she was scheduled to have the test done the day after her water broke, so they had to assume she had it to be safe.

    As for u/s, my doctor does a final scan at 35 weeks to measure the baby and check position. If it wasn't for some issues I'm having, I wouldn't have had any other u/s between the anatomy scan at 18 weeks and the final scan at 35 weeks.

    After 3 failed Clomid+TI cycles, DD was conceived with IUI#1

    TTC #2

    Clomid 50 mg + IUI#1  = BFP, m/c and D&C at 7w1d

    Clomid 50mg + IUI#2 = BFN

    Clomid 100mg + IUI#3 = BFN

    Lupron + Follistim + IVF#1 = 11ER, 10M, 10F, ET of 1 expanded BBA 5-day blast, 2 Frosties. BFP! Beta 10/13 = 264! Beta 10/15 = 702! EDD 6/21/14

    I believe the Group B strep test is done between 35-37 weeks. I am not sure about an u/s... I will ask my OB at my next appointment.

    I have an ultrasound scheduled at my 34 week checkup and GBS at 36 weeks.

    Our GBS test is done at 36 weeks and at my practice unless you have problems or are high risk you don't get an ultrasound at the end.

    I didnt know anyting about this test i had to look it up! Im assuming my doctor will just suprize me with it one day! I dont get anymore ultrasounds either that i am aware of.

    Idk why, but my dr does it in first tri. He medicates one dose of antibiotics then and another before delivery, then runs an iv during delivery for it. I had it with DD, so im doing the same with this one.

    I escaped uninvaded today, but apparently its standard at 36 weeks. Totally creeps me out, but they made it sound important.
