Hey everyone, I have a quick question. I'm looking for some recommendations on some casual everyday dinnerware. We had a white Home Trend brand 16 piece set that was given to us when we got married. I have never cared for it, because I always thought the plates were too heavy. It was free though, so I've never felt a need to replace them, until now.
About a month ago, the shelf in our cabinet gave way, and most of it broke. Now I need to replace it, because I'm sick of eating off of paper plates. I want to buy a nice set this time around, but I'm having trouble finding dishes I like. I'm looking to spend no less than $200.00 total, because I already own fine china.
Does anyone love their dishes, and would be willing to recommend some.
TIA!
Re: Casual Dinnerware - NTR
Do you have a Bed, Bath & Beyond near you? I recommend just going there and getting a box set. They have tons.
I have these. I like a white plate so the food speaks for itself, but these have enough of a design/color to be pretty.

I'm happy with the Corelle dishes, too. It means Jackson can "help" unload the dishes.
I think they're a great choice for everyday dishes when you have children.
Some of the patterns are ghastly but some are great!
