Pre pregnancy I did them 3 or 4 times a day. Since pregnancy I've gone many many days without doing them, some days I'll do them once or twice (I'm doing them now tee hee). But, I didn't lose my "strength" which is good ... and no peeing my pants so far, also good.
I will do a bunch one day and totally forget for a few days. I almost need to put a calendar notice on my Outlook calendar. Nothing like being in a meeting and my "kegel" reminder showing up! I try to do them every time I am at a stop light (I have a long commute to work) and before bed. Sometimes I do them in meetings, just out of boredom.

Just made myself do a set right before I opened the post, but after reading the title..lol.
Only started really a couple weeks ago, my mom who is/will be my labor coach started saying "ok, 25 kegals now" randomly. And I just try and do them when I remember.
Here's a quick Kegel question. My friend who just had her baby was telling me that her OB didn't suggest she do them until after the baby was born because when trying to fit a baby through the birth canal you don't really want things all tight...anyone else been told this? It makes me hesitate to do them.

Not sure if this answers your question, but -- My Bradley class encourages us to them regularly (like 150+/day). The main reason they give is that if that muscle is strong, it encourages Baby to tuck her head into her chest as she passes through that area, which is what you want to happen. Of course I'm also enjoying the not-peeing-my-pants thing, too.

Re: Kegel Exercises
Should I be? Yes.
Am I? No.
Really need to get on that!
This exactly! I keep forgetting to do them. My friend who had a baby 6 months ago has been getting on my case for not doing them daily.
