nervous for my brain test tomorrow!

so tomorrow is finally the day, my growth hormone resistance test, i have to be in the hospital by 8am, the nurse totally freaked me out tonight, she called to give me the run down, no eating/drinking blah blah blah, and she went over what they'll do, and talked about my IV, and i was like...ummm?? i thought it was oral medication? and she said the DR ordered an IV to be hooked up because i guess the medication they are giving me has a tendency to drop blood pressure, so they are going to have an IV in me just incase they need to give me anything to help raise my bp.
now i'm just nervous, she said i'm going to be pretty wiped out afterwards from the drop in my blood pressure, and with all the bloods they'll be drawing over the day, but they won't let me leave the hospital until i'm fully alert..thank goodness my dad is taking me since DH can't get off work.
i just hope this test proves i need the growth hormones so the insurance will pick them up, because the RE put our stims on hold until i get my growth hormones in check...
ahhh...sorry, just a ball of nerves and jittery! let's hope my brain does not pass LOL
p.s. at least the royal wedding will take my mind off things in the morning while i'm there!

I know I had super scary low BP when I was sick and it wipes you out- so glad they are putting an IV in for safety

Thanks. I should kick this by the weekend. my BP was low a few mos ago when I was really sick.

Me= 37 and DH = 41
Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #5: MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

Living After Losing
I just got home, and it went well! My blood pressure did drop drastically, but they just gave me a saline drip and it gradually went back up, i was exhausted! and since my veins are CRAPPPYYY the iv line didn't work, it worked as an iv, but not for them to draw blood with, so they had to stick me for EACH test, every half hour, so they stuck me 8 or 9 times all around the same area....looks like i'm not wearing short sleeves this weekend LOL
but i'm glad to be done, and i hope my dr's get on the ball quickly with all the paper pushing now!!!
thank you so much for all you t's & p's!!!! they definitely worked, because this was the first time anyone ever was able to get a vein on the 1st time each time! so i only have 8 bruises as opposed to 25 LOL so i'm writing a letter to the hospital about the awesome nurse i had!!
