Is there TMI on a pregnancy board?

I've noticed a lot of posts that state TMI and then go on to state regular pregnancy related concerns or occurrences. Blood, mucus, sex, constipation, etc. are all normal parts of what everyone on here is going through. I don't see where any of it is TMI. If I were to see a post of pooping during delivery on the Gardening & Lanscaping board on the Nest, I would have to agree that it is TMI over there, but here?

Am I missing something? Is there such a thing as TMI when discussing pregnancy with a bunch of pregnant women?

I think many of those posts probably come from people who do not post/lurk a lot, so they "think" it's TMI, but if they did a little reading, they'd see otherwise!

Yeah, nothing pregnancy related (as in anything that comes along with being pregnant) needs a TMI.

I think its appropraite for any board. Lots of things with pregnancy are not graphic but thats just my opinion. Either way I think its safe to do and not to.

Totally agree. TMI warnings on a pregnancy boards is silly.

Eh, I think that it's reasonable to use so people know what kind of post that they're getting into. Some people will never want to read about others' mucus plugs.

I think that it'd be moot if people just used descriptive post titles, though. None of this "Am I the only one?" or "What do you think?" kind of posts that I see all over the bump.

Yes, there is. I remember one explicit post about oral sex during pregnancy that made me want to vomit and on the toddler boards there was a ttcs post about jizz fingering. There definitely can be TMI.
