Ds turns 3 tomorrow, and

IHO that great occasion, he has developed his first case of seasonal allergies. The post nasal drip is making him gag, and he adamantly refuses to blow his nose despite knowing how to do so. This is always my worst week of the year for allergies. Looks like DS inherited them from me. Poor kid is going to be sick on his birthday for life.

  • Poor little guy.  My niece definitely has them, almost year round even - waking up stuffy and coughing most mornings.  They used Claritin for kids a bunch but she also uses some more natural medicines like stuff with elderberry in it.  She thinks it helps when things aren't at their peak.  I have them pretty badly this time of year as well - for me it is mostly grasses, not trees that bother me the most so I am preparing for it to start getting bad right about now.  I need to stop at Target today and this reminds me to pick up some Zyrtec.

  • Poor kid!  I have terrible seasonal allergies as do both my girls.  And we all feel so tired - I never know if the tiredness is from the allergies or the allergy medicine.  It's the pits.
Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.
