The library finally has a copy for me on hold (I've been waiting for 2-3 months). I'm excited to read this. I heard the author speak on NPR and thought her premise and subsequent exploration of the topic interesting. Has anybody read this?
I have not read it but looked at it at the bookstore. I can say Cinderella did eat my daughter, I have a daughter who talks to Cinderella, she is her imaginary friend. My daughter has to wear a dress everday and calls herself a princess! And she is only 2!

I'm terrified of this! I was never a "girlie" girl, I hated dresses, never even had a manicure until I was in college! Bought my first pair of non-formal event heels in college too haha. I'm hoping that LO having an older brother combined with the fact that I'm not girlie will help, but I know I can only do so much... I think I need to read this book!
