"the easter bunny" brought LO the FP Snug-a-bunny swing for Easter. We love it!  I wish I had it from day 1!  We had a swing chair that sits on the floor, and we couldn't use it unsupervised because we have 2 dogs.  We ended up putting it on the dining room table and use it only during meals so H and I can eat together if LO is awake.

Anyway, this swing is AMAZING!!!  It plugs in, so we arent' going through a pack of batteries per day. It has 3 swing positions, music and other noises, different speeds, a mobile, and it's so cute.  He sleeps great in it, and stays happy if he's in it while awake.  If you don't have a swing like this, you should check it out!

    I'm so jealous! I want that swing soooo bad! MIL said she wanted to get us a swing after LO arrived. She wanted to get one that swings side to side and front to back so I showed her the FP ones like the snugabunny and little lamb one. She was all about it, I found it on amazon for $100 with free shipping, and then out of nowhere she said it was too expensive and asked me to pick a cheaper one. I haven't picked out another one because all of the cheaper ones a)don't swing side to side and b)get pretty bad reviews all around and I just don't want to waste the money on something that is a piece of junk. I'm so tempted to buy it myself now but I just can't seem to justify it Sad

    Ditto! We bought ours the day after Easter and love it. DD loves it. She relaxes so easily in it - whether falling asleep and staying asleep for a nap or just hanging out. It's a lifesaver!

    Can you just pay the rest of what she doesn't contribute? I wouldn't have her get something you won't be happy with. We have this swing and love it, too. Thank goodness it plugs in!

    We have the same swing and we love it :o) He's at that age where he loves to stare at himself in the mirror!

    This was my initial thought but when I suggested it to DH he said MIL wouldn't go for it and would be offended if I asked. MIL has a history of saying she wants to get us/LO something and never following through Tongue Tied
