When I wake up in the morning and realize I've run out of clean underwear, I take a few dirty pairs into the shower with me in the morning and handwash them. I toss them into the dryer while I blow dry my hair/put on makeup and put them on when they're dry. I even keep laundry soap in the bathroom just for this. Its also the only way I wash my bras.
Happens at least once a month. Including this morning.
Re: Late night confession.
I am weird about underwear. I wear at least 2 (and at times 3) pairs a day. I put a fresh pair on in the AM, often put a new pair on when I get home from work and put on comfy clothes, and then if I take a bath or shower that night I change again. I have certain underwear I wear during the day and certain pairs that I wear to sleep.

me too!
Nice to know I am not alone. I also go through several pairs a day, and I usually shower at least 2x per day. However, I can't wear underwear to bed. I haven't in like 10 years or something (unless I am putting on sexy lingerie and know it will end up off).
I buy underwear like crazy and I seriously need a separate dresser for panties, bras, and other lingerie. I have so many pairs of panties, it's probably some sort of addiction, haha.
This is me, especially since I became pregnant... I feel like I sweat too much or something, I never feel clean lately so I have to shower at least 2 times and my poor panty stash is gone through in like 3 days. Damn Arizona heat
Is it weird that I think that is a fabulous ideas??
I never run out of underwear or any other clean clothes because I have so much more stuff than DH. When we were both working, DH did most of the laundry. When I started working part-time, he still did most of the laundry for a while because he would run out of clothes so much sooner than I would. By the time I noticed that there were dirty clothes in the basket, he was out of gym shorts and wearing mismatched socks to work - and I still had a pretty full stock.
We've adjusted and now I do laundry pretty much every day. I've tried to just buy him more clothes, but no, that would just be wasteful.
