Wrist Pain, Anyone Else?

I've been having pain in my left wrist (I'm right handed) since Monday.  It feels like it's bruised inside, but I can't remember doing anything to injure myself.  It almost feels like I fell down and used that hand to brace my fall.  Anyone else having this kind of pain?  I'm not sure if it's pregnancy carpal tunnel I've heard about or what?  I keep waiting for the pain to go away, but so far this week it's not.

    I have been having some pain in my right wrist on the side mainly. I thought that maybe it was from the way I was sleeping but now I'm not so sure. I sleep on my left side mostly so I don't think my right wrist would be affected by this. It does feel like it is bruised or I feel on it, just like you said.

    I have pain in both of my wrists. It comes and goes.. definately bad in the mornings.. putting on a bra is torture! lol. Just another wonderful pregnancy symptom!

    Yep, its carpal tunnel.  I asked my doc about it on Tuesday.  I have the same pain when I first wake up.  It's really bad in the morning then I also notice it when I try to do random things like grind the pepper.  Dr said Tylenol is OK to take but it really won't  do anything.  Maybe try a brace?  Dr. says it will go away after baby comes.

    Thanks for your comments.  Mine as definitely been worse in the morning as well.  At least I know this is somewhat pregnancy related and I'm not going completely crazy.  My next appointment is next week so I'll talk to my doctor about it then.

    Yes! I have had numbness in my right hand since January and for the past week I have had this horrible pain (below the base of my thumb). I use to just have it in the morning but since Sunday it has been constant. I have to wear a brace all the time because if I turn my wrist a certain way I get this electric like pinch in my wrist and instant tears form in my eyes.

     My left hand has been numb now for about a week and I am hoping and praying that I do not get this awful pain in my left wrist. These next 5 weeks cannot go by fast enough.

    it's probably pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. lucky you...you're just now getting it. I've had since my 5th month and have 6 weeks left!!
