NBR: Ring sizing?

I went to fast fix jewelry at lakeline to get a ring sized abd they wanted $75! Is that normal? Any other ideas where to go? I usually go to Americus but w/them havung their liquidation sale I'm not sure if they have a jeweler in house anymore or if they'll still be open when I go to pick it up.

    I didn't buy my rings there, but I asked jared what they would charge to up my paltinum wedding set and they want $200.  YIKES.  I could just buy a white gold band for that much and have a new ring!

    I got my 2 eternity bands (wedding & engagment) resized last year at Americus. They charged me $60 per ring. I also had then redipped for $40 a ring. I thought that was a really good price considering the diamonds going all the way around.

    Wow. The price to resize must have gone up bc I don't remember it being that much when I had to resize my wedding rings at Americus. Anyway, this ring is ds's birthstone ring and the price really is half the price we bought it for

    Is there any chance that you would have purchased the insurance?  We normally don't buy it on most items, but for any jewelry we do because it'll cover sizing and stone loss.

    Just a couple of weeks ago I had mine sized (larger) and it was either $30 or $35.  I took it here .  I'm not gonna lie...it looks a little shady but it had good reviews and he said it would be only about 30 minutes.  I was really happy when I picked them up.

    That sounds about right. I had my grandmothers wedding rings resized and I believe I paid around $150 at Kruegers.
