PF Lake ?

I was browsing through a city of PF parks a rec book and they mentioned you could rent the picnic area for partys but I can't find the information online. DD wants a pool party with a beach theme but thought that picnic area might work and we can have a real beach party for her. I've also never been to the little beach area, how is it? A few kids from 3-8 should enjoy it right?

    It's a nice area.  But windy as heck.  If it is at all windy then it's crazy windy on the lake.

    It is usually pretty windy, as PP said, but I think the beach area would be good for younger kids. Its small enough to keep a good eye on all of them at once, and the last time I went, the pavillions were really nice.
