Absolutely not. Even the topic of whether or not to even HAVE kids causes conflict. And FWIW I'm pretty obnoxious and opinionated, but people tell me all the time how polite my DD is. I'm sure that will very quickly change as we approach her teenage years. :-)
lol no. Parenting is a cut-throat competition wherein any choice that isn't identical to mine is clearly wrong and an obvious threat to my ability to properly raise my children.

pretty sure this exists for most subjects that humans feel passionate about. Politics and religion... Anything that forces people to choose sides on will always cause two extremes, but there are people that are somewhere in the middle, that goes for parenting too.
I think like most things on the internet certain topics get much more "hot" than they do in real life. I'm in a MOMs club with about 30 other women and haven't seen any clucking over someone choosing to FF, using disposables, or buying convenience foods for them. On the bump all of those topics can get quite hot. And no one is going around asking the Moms of boys if they mutliated their genitals...
Re: poll: do you think that

Oh and if you're not first you're last.

Ill be proud as hell if my kids are as loud, opinionated, & obnoxious as I am, at the right times & in the right places of course
Ugh, don't think so. The world is filled with too many know-it-alls.
I think that murder is never an acceptable approach to disciplining children. Anyone disagree with that one?
