Nope, but I went to your name list and I noticed that you have Vivien Louise on there. hehehe that was actually on my name list! Spelled this way tho...

Vivienne Louise...we may even go with Vivian if we do have a girl this time around.

I'm a pediatric RN but when I worked with adults, Vistaril or Hydroxyzine was given for itching that accompanied allergies as well as nausea and other symptoms related to alcohol withdrawal. I think it's also used for motion sickness too, but I didn't see too many people with motion sickness.

In pediatrics we use the brand name Atarax mainly for the itching relief effect. I've never heard of it used for morning sickness before but I've never worked in labor and delivery either. Guess I wasn't much help huh.

I took it in my 3rd trimester with my dd to help me sleep. I also take it occasionally now for allergies (I have a tree nut allergy) except I plan to mention it at my next appt because I just read on safefetus.com that it isn't safe for first trimester and is correlated to such birth defects as cleft lip. So, I don't know how accurate that is but I was going to ask. JIC.
