XP: This shouldn't be this hard

I bought a bottle warmer.  But I cannot decide if I want to keep it.  DH does not care, but I am still struggling with spending the money.  I got the Dr Browns version ($45) since that is the type of bottle we use, will also work for baby food, and gets great reviews.

Help me decide - should I keep it????

PS - I know this should not be that hard of a decision. Embarrassed

  • I have the first years baby pro and I love it. it was about $23 at BRU.and it fits all sizes/types of bottles and baby food as well. There is no way I would spend $45 on a warmer just because its Dr. Browns IMO. I would think Its works the same as the cheaper one

  • I personally wouldn't keep it.  Being on baby #2, I've never felt the need to have one.  A cup of hot water works perfectly fine for us.  I've never even thought to warm baby food...if you get them used to warm food, what do you do when you're out of the house and don't have a warmer with you?  I think it's good to get LO's used to taking their food at any temperature.  When we're home we always put it in hot water, but it's in there for varying amounts of time, so it's never the same temperature.  When we're out, we keep the formula on ice until he needs it and he'll drink it cold.
