farmer's markets, carnivals, parades, corn on the cob, picnics, catching fireflies with the kids, days at the lake, funnel cakes on the boardwalk, the smell of fresh cut grass and old bay, grilled dinners almost every night, eating outside, flip flops and sundresses
I can not WAIT For summer! I won't be in school and I work 2nd shift so DS and I will have all day to play outside and soak up the sun! last summer I was recovering from his birth still (cracked rib, massive heal spurs in both feet and a dislocated vagina! (my joint lol) ) and the baby so new couldn't be out in the sun so we stayed in A/C and I watched tv a LOT! This summer totally different story and I plan on being outside every day! School is almost over and I can not WAIT for it to be over yeah!!!! and we're going to cape cod in August! We haven't been since 2007 and we got married there!
I'll be floating in the backyard pool all summer with DD gaining weight by drinking non-alcoholic juicy drinks all day long while DH is at work??!! Otherwise I'll be keeping my chubby self in the air-conditioned house. I'm already living in the heat (it's in the 80's) and can't be outside after 10:30am. I don't know how I'm going to manage for DD's birthday, for the wedding I have next weekend, and my final wedding in July. UGH!!!
I'm excited to take the kids to the water park at our Y and to the beach (even though I hate the beach here). We skipped spring here and are already into summer most days.

ahhhh, i can't wait!
Pretty much all of this. Definitely not looking forward to the hot weather though.
It's city-wide garage sales here this weekend...and it snowed/sleeted/rained this morning. I can not wait for summer!
gardening, farmer's markets, fairs, parades, swimming, being able to go for walks pretty much every day (it's too darn cold in the winter. Plus we don't have sidewalks.), the family reunion, baby can just wear a diaper,
Basically, pretty much anything is better than winter. Come on summer!
I'm looking forward to fresh produce from our garden and the farmers market, finally getting myself and the boys outside after a LONG, cold PA winter, BBQing, beach trip, ice cold adult beverages, golfing, strawberry season, picnics, gettogethers with friends, and so, so much more!

Mostly because of the over 100 degree weather. Ugh, I hate wearing office clothes (and my office freezes in the summer) then having to go pick up the kids from daycare in the heat.
Watermelon, blowing bubbles, sidewalk chalk, ICE CREAM TRUCKS, running bare foot on the grass, trips to the beach, camping, driving with your windows down (cause you got no AC lol), BBQs, staying outside late at night, going to the park, etc...etc...etc...

I'm a hater, too, lol. It's just going to be too flippin hot. It already is here. Though tomorrow is supposed to be a balmy 72.
I remember living in the cold and being so excited about wearing summer clothes. But it's been a loooooong time.
