My evening routine:

We are formula feeding. Miss Amelia Joy is 4 weeks old.

- 6pm bottle 4oz

 Bath and hanging out 

 

- 9pm bottle 4oz 

 Hanging out time on the couch for about an hour

 

- 10:30 pm bedtime (rocking chair, night light and white-noise sound machine)

 Put into crib in her own room once asleep 

 

- 12 we wake her for a 4oz bottle

She wakes up for a bottle at 3am and 6am

    I feed on demand when at home.  Our usual routine:

    I get home from work around 5:30 and cook dinner and get things ready for the next day.  DS is ready for bed anywhere between 7:30 and 8.  At this time, I get him in the bath and give him a massage with lotion before putting on his jammies.  I nurse him and he goes to sleep usually around 8:30-9. I usually take DS lead and when he is tired and fussy, bedtime is a breeze. I get in bed AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!  He wakes to eat at 1:30 and anytime between 3-4.  We wake up at 5:30 to start the day again!

    I also formula feed.

    7:15 We go for a half hour walk outside, I have noticed that watching the trees/nature helps calm her.

    8:00 She gets a 4oz bottle.

    8:30 She takes a bath with me.

    9:00 We put her in her crib with a stuffed dog that plays soft music for 10 mins. I stay with her rubbing her belly until she is asleep. She normally out in 5 mins.

    Then I go start dinner for the rest of the family. And we are in bed by 11pm.

    3:00am She wakes up for a 4oz bottle and goes back to sleep.

    8:00am She is up and drinks a 5oz bottle and then we start our day.
