Mark your calendars! Date for Bobcat fundraiser is set!

The Spa Day Fundraiser for Bobcat has been set for Sunday, May 22nd!  I will send out the evite very soon.  Please let me know if you would like to participate as a vendor or would like to be added to the evite list.  My email is lainaustin at yahoo dot com.  It's going to be a great day!

    DX PCOS 2006 - Off BCPs since 1/09 - TTC #1 4 cycles clomid (50, 100, 150, 200) - FAIL, no O Multiple cycles clomid + femara - FAIL, no O 3 injectable cycles - FAIL Ovarian Drilling 6/2010. Several failed cycles follow. 11/2010 - "Hold" on IF treatment.
    10/24/2011 - Surprise BFP; EDD 6/21/12! BOY!

    Sweet baby boy born 6/14 9lb 2oz via csection.

    I have heard there is going to be this fundraiser, but I guess I missed the original post about it.  Can you explain to me what the day is going to be like?

    Absolutley!  It will basically be a spa/ladies day.  I have a massage therepist doing chair massages; a facial lady (not sure of the title) doing glycolic peels; a nail lady doing manis/pedis; a waxing lady doing waxing; as well as Southern Living at Home; Mary Kay; Candle person, etc. coming.  You can sign up ahead of time for any spa treatment that you like or if you just want to come shop, you can do that as well.  Each vendor will be donating the proceeds to Bobcat.  To make it even more fun and relaxing, I will be serving mimosas and light apps. I am putting together some last minute things for the Evite but as soon as I have all of the info together I will send out the Evite to everyone.  Once everyone decide what, if any, treatments they like, they will email me and I will put them on the schedule accordingly.

    One more thing, and this will be on the Evite, but please feel free to invite anyone you like.  The more the merrier and ultimatley the goal is to raise as much money as possible for the bobcat's.

    I just want to publicly thank all of y'all again for all the support, thoughts, prayers, donations, etc. It really means a lot to our family.

    I know I haven't posted much about the crap that we're still dealing with (fighting with insurance over in-network vs. out of network, etc. and residual issues with DH's personality). I just try to focus on the positives and we are truly lucky, blessed, or whatever you want to call it, that he is physically healthy and able to work full-time and function like a "normal" person already.

    I wasn't involved in the planning but I will be there and I am very thankful to LA and everyone that has and will be involved. You girls are amazing!

    I also wanted to add that any money raised in excess of our medical debt will be used to pay it forward.
