Godparents-to-be poem? Critic Please...

Uncle Steve and Aunt Monique,

 

I will soon arrive and just cannot wait to meet you all

and see your sweet face;

 

Although you both already hold a special place in my heart,

there are just a few things that I just have to ask?

 

Will you both take my hand and hold it as I grow,

Will you both teach me of God?s Unconditional Love?

 

Will you both guide me and teach me in your faith,

Will you both share with me the blessings that are Heaven sent?

 

Will you both keep me in your prayers everyday and night?

Will you both teach me from wrong and right?

 

Oh this I ask before I arrive and

there is just a few more things I need to ask?

 

You see when I was in Heaven playing with the Lord,

with both my Great Grandmas and Auntie ?O?

with Aunt Eleanor and Aunt Margie

he said he had two angels on earth just for me!

 

These angels he spoke about were one of a kind,

and they would protect me all of the time,

he said they would guide me and show me so much love

that they would look at me just like one of their own.

 

He said he had spoken to my

Daddy and Mommy and

even got two thumbs up from my Big Brother Nicky?

 

So before, I arrive to my new home on earth

There is just one last thing I need to ask?

 

Will you both be my angels on earth

will you both be my Godparents-To-Be?

**** Thank you in advance ladies for your input & suggestions... We plan to ask them this weekend after our little sprinkle, hosted in there house... I will be placing the 3/D-4/D scan pic at the end of the poem, what do you think? or should I frame it?

    Do you think it should be 'faces' plural in the first line? Also, I would just say would you be my Godparents and not Godparents-To-Be.
