...when a man, especially a married one, tries to pick up on a PREGNANT woman. This one guy has been making remarks and gulking at me for a few weeks now. He knows I'm very pregnant and very married, but he seems to still be interested in me. He also has a wife. I think that is one of the most annoying and disrespectful things ever!

Thats too funny i was in tim hortons this am and some like 20yr old guy kept staring at me and like watching me, i was like dude im huge pregnant and married heres a flash of the ring! Stop looking at me!

I have been trying to find the best sarcastic comment for guys when they do this! As PP said, it's also super weird when it's younger guys. This guy rang me up at the store the other day, he was like 17, and he was totally ogling me. I was shocked. And today, I ran errands with my brother and this other guy (sitting in Starbucks) was doing it. My brother was like, "I get it, a lot of pregnant women look beautiful, but that's really strange." It made my brother feel all awkward. He said he didn't know if he should have said something to the guy or what.

Eww. DH keeps telling me I look sexy, but I chalk that up to him not getting any right now and the fact that he loves me anyways. I can't imagine why a woman with a huge belly is so attractive (not to insult anyone here... I think we are all beautiful, but I wouldn't associate the budda belly with looking sexy).

I know this sounds just crazy, but I just lost my best friend because he other half started doing this.

Her super horrible live-in boyfriend of forever told me when I was about 3 months pregnant that he's had a thing for me for years and that we should, you know, go ahead and do it before I go have a kid (the "and get all gross" was implied).

Since I'd known him for so long (and knew best friend both wouldn't take it well / would never leave him) I counted it as his once crazy moment and didn't say anything, except of course making it clear to him that he was disgusting. When he kept bullying me in weird, yucky ways from then on, I had to make the whole thing known.

So former best friend of years and years decided that I was just a lying troublemaker, canceled my baby shower and hasn't spoken to me since -- all because her "husband" is gross.

Sigh. Men are so gross and weak women who stay with the gross ones make me sad. Now everyone I know in my stupid little town is avoiding me because they don't want to hurt her feelings and think that I'm a troublemaker and was somehow like asking for it something.

i was at the department of motor vehicles and this drunk homeless guy stumbles in and yells at the top of his lungs to me, "man, i love what pregnancy does to a woman's ass." the entire dmv got quiet, for probably the first time ever. ha! people were staring at me intently to gauge my response. i just laughed and said, 'thanks!' there was no sense in getting into an argument with a bum.

Thanks for the kind words. I hate the choice that she made, but I can't manage to even really be angry with her about it, just terribly sad that I've lost someone who (save her taste in men) is an incredible person. It does make me thankful for my own husband and my won strength though because I don't think I would ever feel like to had to stay with someone so horrible (this was not a first offense on his part, but any measure).
