MH was offered a really great job but they do not offer insurance and I will have to pick it up through my work. I am going to speak with HR today but does anyone have any experience with changing policies while pregnant?
My insurance will be changing right before delivery. Luckily I knew this ahead of time so I checked to see if my doctor would take the new insurance. Good luck.
I did this when I was pregnant with DS and it was fine. Nothing changed. I got on DH plans with thoughts of knowing I would not go back to work and it was his open enrollment. I will say I am not sure if this played a part but it was the same insurance agency.

If you've been insured through out the rest of your pregnancy under a different carrier, you legally cannot be denied benefits through your new policy. However, if you've had a lapse in coverage, you will be denied.

just find out what your new insurance plan will be and then call all of your health providers to make sure they will accept that new plan. I'm sure there will be some hassles involved, but overall it shouldn't be a big deal. Then just make sure that if there is any lapse in coverage, that you don't have an appointment scheduled during that time so you don't get charged for it.
