Middle Name help

OK, so I thought we were set on a MN for little one but now out of no where last weekend DH said he's second guessing our MN. He just feels like the name should stop there - like it's a last name or something. Whatever. Anyway, I decided I'd think about it and see what else works, however I do want to use a MN that is after someone in our family. The name will be Tyler _____ Sp***er

Here are the MNs we've come up with, all after family members:

Robert
Michael
August
Frank
Kenneth
Timothy
Joseph
John

We had planned on Michael (my brother and his godfathers name) but he's second guessing it. The two we're not too keen on are Joseph and John because we want his NN to be Ty, not TJ.

Kenneth may also be out because that's our nephews middle name. He'll only be 18 months when LO is born so that's too close in age to be using the same middle names, even though Kenneth is DHs grandfather and uncles name and his dads MN though he goes by Ken)!

Personally, I still like Michael and we'll probably go with that but I still thought I'd give it a fair shot to think of something else. I like Joseph too but DH just doesn't want TJ as a potential NN.

I'm partial to Robert, but probably only because that's my LO's middle name. Second choice would be Michael

Off the list, I like Robert best.

We are still working on the middle name for our little guy too! I'm hoping to decide this weekend

If we don't go with Michael, Robert is my next choice, but that's DHs name and he said that's "too egotistical, even for him"... he seems to forget that's also my grandpas name!

My first thought was that I liked the one or two-syllable choices best for flow - and it seems all the PPs choose one or two syllable names. My favorite is Joseph. I really like the name Joseph. I think Michael sounds very nice.
