I'm Pregnant with Babyzilla

I had a level II ultrasound today at Maternal Fetal medicine. I am 30 weeks today, baby Grayson is measuring 33w4d to 34w1 and is weighing in at a whopping 4lb's 9oz's.

This blows my mind because this is the weight my niece was when she came home from the hospital, and I'm still 10 weeks from my due date and 9 weeks from my c-section.

I've been measuring 2 weeks ahead based on fundal height, and I've had 9lb babies, so I was expecting him to be big. Just not this big this early! I thought maybe 3 and 1/2 lb's or so.

It explains these chubby cheeks! ^_^

Those cheeks are positively adorable! I bet you can't wait to kiss 'em!

I hope the next 9 weeks are great for you-it doesn't necessarily sound like you're worried about his size but I hope he continues to gain healthily for the remainder!

I'm still kind of in shock, so I haven't yet made it to the worried part. His heart, kidneys, brain, everything is perfect so I am relieved about that. But the MFM Dr. did share some scary possibilities with bigger babies. I'm going to try and stay positive though. I'm MOST EVER thankful that I will be having a repeat c-section, but worry about carrying so much baby around towards the end. I have a feeling it won't be the most fun. lol
