Target gift receipts

Anyone know if there is a way to check what the gift receipt price of an item is from a Target gift receipt?

 At my shower last weekend, I received a duplicate:

1. A bare Boppy and a separate slipcover

2. A boppy with a slipcover already on it

The second Boppy with the clipcover already on it was the item I had on my registry, but I'd rather return the item(s) that will give me the most $$ back, KWIM?

I can check the current online prices to get a good idea, but figured if I could see exactly what each item was paid for on the gift receipt, then Id rather do that..

    I don't think you can tell from the gift receipt. That's kind of the point of a gift receipt - to hide the price paid.

    Something similar happened to me with the boppy and cover and I think the bare pillow and separate cover was more expensive, but not by much.

    I bet the difference is pretty negligible... but I would just look in the store or online to see what the prices are.

    You could just return both of them and the rebuy whichever ends up being less?

    I think the Boppy's with slipcovers are $35-$45 and the naked Boppy is $30 and the slipcovers vary from $10-$25.  It may be a wash depending on the covers.
