I like the idea. I wish it wasn't shaped like an actual toilet, but the concept is cool if he'd keep it on.
lol i agree. why does it have to be shaped like a toilet?! but i'm wondering if maybe he'll think having a watch is cool and it will make him want to sit on the toilet.
We just used a timer the first few days, and it wasn't needed after that. But, we also waited until a couple of months before she turned 3 to really potty train her, so she was quick to recognize when she needed to go in plenty of time to make it to the potty.

Re: has anyone used a potty time reminder watch?
My MIL gave us this timer that we use for time outs. We also now use it to remind ourselves to take DD to the potty.
i do like the idea of a watch so it reminds her to go herself, but i dont' think she'd keep it on all day.
I got the huggies app on my phone and it makes a flushing toilet sound at a set interval.
I only needed it for a few days until I got used to asking him.

I think any small alarm watch would work, it doesn't have to be a potty shaped one
I saw some vibrating alarm watches somewhere. I bet that would work
