Okay, I know you're supposed to use defrosted BM within 24 hours... what if I cooked up sweet potatoes, then added defrosted BM to thin out, then re-froze?
Would that be okay? (none of my frozen milk had ever been warmed - it went straight to the freezer).
TIA

Re: Can I use my stash to mix with baby food?
You can make the food and THEN thaw BM to thin it out. There's no need to thin it before you serve it since you might want to change the thickness depending on what LO is into at the time.
Since A won't take a darn bottle, my stash will be used for making oatmeal, etc.

You can thaw it to use to mix with baby food, but you should never re-freeze breast milk. I've read this in multiple places. Just for reference:

Darn - I hate to defrost 3oz of breastmilk to just use a teaspoon.
