So I'm getting all sorts of info from everyone. Has anyone tried Goodstart GentlePlus formula with Comfort Proteins and noticed a difference from say Enfamil Gentilease or Similac Sensitive? (Baby HATED soy, gave her major belly pains.)
my daughter did absolutely terrible on good start and is much much better on sensitive. Supposedly yes, but every baby reacts to different formulas in different ways.
My daughter was barely eating and crying six hours a night on the gerber goodstart gentle. Since getting on similac sensitive she is a different baby.
we used that GD formula with DS and he did really well. No gas other then burps and when you mixed it it didnlt get all frothy or have lumps. I plan to use it again when I ween DD and I start to do a 50/50mix so my freezer stash will last longer.

While my DS cannot be anything other then Nutramigen we did try GoodStart for awhile and I was really impressed with this. The only other formula we have tried that does not have the bubbles after shaking is Nutramigen. It also mixed really well.
We've tried SS & GG, found that GG has no side effects. My memory of SS isn't so clear but I remember him being farty when younger, tho not sure which formula caused that-it's all a blurr! He uses GG every night for weeks now.
Re: Is Goodstart actually more gentle than Sensitive formulas?
From what I have been told yes.
There is something with the casings that is broken down further or some mumbo jumbo like that.
