We have this. It's got lots of bells and whistles and for once, we actually used them. It's just the design that is retired. Baby Trend has lots of options out there.

This is basically the one we just got, it is Baby Trend, but I think made just for BRU. (looks almost identical) We got it for a pretty good price with a coupon. We put it together the other day, and really like it. We got this to use as our bassinet (thought this would have a bit more value since you can use it long after you are done with the bassinet part - thanks to the recommendations of July Bumpies, thanks girls!!)

We really like it and pretty easy to put together. We opted not to put on the diaper holder thing and the changer, only because I don't see us using it much as this point. But once she is done with the bassinet and it moves from our room to the living room, we may use the changer part. We will just wait and see, it is a nice option to have.

I didn't want one that had a lot of stuff going on in addition to the changing table and bassinet. This one is a nice, non-busy pattern and we had a 15% off BRU coupon. Works for us!

I also went with the Baby Trend one, I think it's the Monkey Around pattern. It has the changer, bassinet and diaper stacker. I did not pick the one that has the music and vibrates and such. This one was lke $99 and it will do the trick for what it's needed for. I also liked the Chicco one (I am a big fan of all their products), but I couldn't fathom the extra $50-75 for basically the same PnP.

I got a Chicco too. It took me a while to put it together, but now that I know how to do it, it should only take about 5 minutes from start to finish to put it all together with the bassinet and changer on it.

We will be re-using the Graco pnp with bassinet and chg table. Since the nursery is on the same side of the house as our room and living room, we won't need the chg table part in this house.

I am a FTM and out of all the larger ticket items this is the only item I got on consignment. My future MIL and I went to a large consignment sale and this pack and play I saw looked hardly used. For only $40 (even though I did not like the color and pattern of it) it will get the use out and some.

For me, I plan to use it for downstairs and travel only...to change baby and to lay baby down when I am busy downstairs. Also, I plan to use it later as a play pen and for me I don't need the extra bells and whistles. It did have some extras like the vibrator, music, etc. but I could hardly care less.

Ok now I feel really dumb because when I went to find a pic of the item I purchased I found out the playard I picked was recalled due to a fall hazard and there was a death of a child related to these pack and plays. ;-{

hmm, what to do now. I guess pop one up on my registry huh?
