So I arrived at my 28 week appt. this morning expecting to be in and out in half an hour,...um no. They handed me the jellybeans and told me that I was doing the GD testing this morning. I wish I had known beforehand, I wasn't really prepared to eat all those jellybeans first thing this morning and to take 2 hours off of work!
It's just weird that they didn't tell me in advance that this would be a longer appointment! Oh well, atleast it's done now.
Re: Surprise!
It was hard! I had to eat the bag in 5 minutes (and I didn't make it, I was watching the clock and it took like 7 minutes of vigorous chewing!)
What!? An entire bag? Holy sh!t!
Oh no, it wasn't an actual bag sold in the stores. It was a smaller bag that they probably divided out themselves, but it still had like 30 or more large jellybeans in it. I like jellybeans, but I was sick of them by the time I got half way through the bag.
Me too! I love jellybeans (just not the black ones) and would definitely prefer to eat those than drink the glucola!
That's good it wasn't an entire bag but it's really odd that they at least didn't warn you/your jaw.
goofball. LOL!
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

it was definitely sweet!
I'll stick with good ole Welch's Grape Juice that I drank instead of Glucola or jelly beans!
But yeah, I would have been really irked to not have prior knowledge that they were doing that today.
